Annette Nobuntu Mul
Professional Background
Annette Nobuntu Mul is the founder of Ubuntu Society, Chair of the Ubuntu Netherlands Foundation, and Head Trainer for the courses ‘Ubuntu, Leadership, and Citizenship’ and the online Ubuntu MOOC, building together for a just, inclusive, and sustainable world, at the International School of Philosophy. She is also a columnist for The Optimist NL, Ambassador for MaatschapWij, and a member of the recommendation committee for Forum Levenslang. In 2018, her book ‘Opsoek naar Ubuntu’ was published, and since then, she has given many lectures to collectively explore, in an interactive manner, the essence of Ubuntu, “I am because we are, and we are because the planet is,” can concretely mean for us as global citizens in work and life. Annette received The African Recognition Award in 2017.
