With over 25 years of experience, Marjolein has been dedicated to sustainability, strategy, and change management. Sustainability, for her, is a holistic concept encompassing the relationships and positions of people with each other, future generations, and nature. In practice, this has translated into a career in sustainable product development, management consultancy, waste management, sustainable energy, and international sustainability and integrity management. She led De Groene Zaak and then became the director of Natuur & Milieu in 2017. Additionally, she serves as a council member at Rli.
